Mark Leggett founded Companion MRI in 2006 after 25 years in the medical imaging field in both administrative and clinical capacities. His career in human medicine culminated in successfully designing and opening multiple outpatient MRI facilities.

Mark spent a decade as an Administrative Director for medical imaging for progressive hospitals. At Saratoga Hospital, he modernized the hospital’s diagnostic technology, making $7.5 million in equipment purchases and saving $350,000 annually through technology improvements. While managing a staff of 80, Mark designed and implemented an outpatient breast diagnostic center and a system for storing and managing digital images.

At Glens Falls Hospital, Mark oversaw all medical imaging operations, which encompassed a staff of 135 and five outpatient facilities. He spurred a 25% increase in imaging volume at the hospital over five years.

Prior to managing imaging centers, Mark worked for nine years as an MRI and CT technologist. He is a New York State-licensed and ARRT-registered radiologic technologist. He holds an AAS in radiologic technology from Hudson Valley Community College and attended Kennedy Western University’s BS/MBA dual degree program in health care administration.

Brad Evans, Chief Financial Officer

Brad comes to Companion MRI with a long history of number crunching, problem solving, and business development. Brad started his career after college by spending a number of years working for the IRS as an accounting professional and Revenue Agent. From there, Brad was recruited by one of the largest players in the veterinary diagnostic arena, which he helped grow by negotiating acquisitions and buyouts. During his time there, the company doubled in size, in large part due to many of the opportunities Brad personally negotiated. Brad struck out on his own over a decade ago and has since built three companies from the ground up, selling off the first two. And as an independent entrepreneurial consultant, Brad has helped start over a dozen businesses, all of which are still in business and thriving today.

Brad has a bachelor’s degree in business and accounting, as well as an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado. He brings a wealth of business, accounting, problem solving, management, and entrepreneurial vision to Companion MRI.
