“The easy access that Companion MRI provides for MRI evaluation has brought our practice of veterinary medicine to a new level. It has provided a ‘window’ of opportunity to further evaluate our patients so that we can help clients make informed decisions about the health of their pets.”
Laurie Fiebig, owner of Bella
“The technologist was extremely courteous and helpful, very gentle and calm. I was made aware of each stage of the procedure and reassured that Bella was doing fine. Fortunately, the tumor was found, and she was taken right into surgery. I am so grateful that MRIs are now available for pets. Thank you!”
Larissa Grosso, owner of Lucy
I was so pleased with all aspects of my interactions with Companion MRI. I was quite impressed with the ease of the process as well as their attention to my concerns for the safety of Lucy. I am very grateful that this diagnostic test is now available for pets.
Nancy Zinn, owner of Buster
After two years of treating my 3-year-old Lab (Buster) for seizures with medication and many tests, my veterinarian suggested that we try an MRI. We received the results within an hour and found that he had a tumor that was causing the seizures. He was able to have surgery and is doing great! I want to thank my veterinarian and Companion MRI for the wonderful compassion and care they extended to Buster.

Amelie
A healthy 6-year-old cat named Amelie started having sudden seizures accompanied by some nasal discharge. Blood work and x-rays performed by Amelie’s veterinarian found nothing out of the ordinary. This left Amelie’s owner with a difficult decision.
The next step was a choice between performing a rhinoscopy, which costs approximately $2,000, or ordering an MRI exam, which usually costs about $1,800 to $3,000. The owner did not have a lot of money and was considering euthanizing her precious Amelie. Luckily, Amelie’s veterinarian became aware of Companion MRI, which offered an affordable option and a 9-month, interest-free payment plan. Amelie’s owner immediately brought her cat to Companion MRI. After the exam was performed, STAT results (available for a small additional charge) were sent over to her veterinarian’s office while Amelie was still on the MRI table under anesthesia.
It turns out that Amelie had fungal rhinitis in her nasopharynx (inflammation deep in her sinuses due to a fungal infection), and there were no tumors or lesions in the brain. Amelie was treated for the sinus condition and is doing fine. Without the affordable MRI option offered by Companion MRI, Amelie’s fate could have been much different.
